Utilize existing or new technology to automate processes.ResponsibilitiesAssist company Energy Management System (EMS) Engineers in performing the analysis, testing, and implementation of real-time EMS database systems.Assist with formulating and defining specifications for real-time applications in a multi-platform environment.Consult with the business regarding new functionality and enhancements to their systems.Be responsible for quality assurance and the evaluation of new and existing software products. Support the problem resolution process for database and application issues.Work with other companies and entities to ensure that PacifiCorp meets their system requirements.Resolve moderately complex errors and conflicts within the database.Assist with developing operational scenarios to be used for training purposes.Analyze system design, programming, and modifications. RequirementsEnrolled full time in accredited engineering college/university.Sophomore standing or higher in electrical/computer engineering, computer science, information management systems, or a related field. Ability to interact favorably with project and work teams. Communication and interpersonal skills involving the ability to work cross-functionally to understand requirements, present alternatives, and recommendations. Proficient with the use of personal computers and automated tools.
